This is a really simple and easy addition worksheets for kids to use. You have three parts to this.

A fun book to use with learning addition is The Mission of Addition (Math Is CATegorical ®). It is great to read and see math!

You have a sheet that shows kids how to add up to that number with all the equations and answers. You can see the equations are shown in vertical and horizontal.

These are great to keep in hand as reminders about how to add.

You have practice sheets with the equations in two ways. This allows you to practice what you learned. There are three sheets for kids to use.

Then you have a visual set of addition sheets. These have pictures in place of the numbers and kids can write the numbers for the addition problems.

Ways to use these Addition Printables

These are beginning addition worksheets. They are simple and easy for kids to use. I’m going to show you a few ways to use the pages in this printable set.

You can use the worksheet normally. I like to have them do crayons or markers to make it bright. If this is their first time then maybe have the way to add sheets nearby.

If you want to reuse the worksheets, then put them in the sheet protectors. This is an easy way to store the pages and reuse them. You can use dry eraser markers on the worksheet. We do this all the time.

Now, this set includes some visual addition strips. These can be used together or apart.

If you have a visual learner these are great to see the pictures and how they add up together. I like to reuse these a lot and it is great to have them in a sheet protector or laminated to help with that.

But because each set adds in new addition strips I love to laminate and cut these apart. That way use can start with a few or do them all.

You can use the dry erase marker on them and use them over and over.

Now if you want another way to work on these, Give them two colors of unifix cubes and have them do a hands-on visual below the strips. This helps them see and have an item to count. You could also use clear glass gems on the pictures as well.
