Ways to Use the Apple Multiplication Roll and Cover Printable
You are going to see set up and a few ways to use these printables. And I love that this type of mat can be used all of fall.
Setting Up the Spinner
There are a few ways to use the spinner. You want to make sure you use the spinner that matches the set of numbers you are working on. And these are great to use when you don’t have dice for the mats.
You have a clear spinners over the top of the spin and just spin the arrow. We like using it this way. It is also easy for kids to use.
You can also use a pencil and paperclip. You place the paperclip in the center and the pencil inside the paperclip. Then you flick the paperclip to make it spin around the pencil.
Spinning and Doting the Multiplication Answers
You can see a simple set up below with the spinner and the multiplication spinning worksheet. You can use the spinner to fill in the numbers on the equations on the left. Then you can dot or color the circle on the apple.
You can do this with all the worksheets in the set. You can also use the spinning with the multiplication mats.
Using Multiplication Flashcards with the Apple Multiplication Mats
You can skip the dice or spinner and just use the multiplication flashcards in the set. You can print them in color cardstock or leave them white. You can see we are going through the flashcards and filling in the equation and then dotting the answer on the apple. A great way to work on multiplication facts with kids.
