It is fun to have counting books for each of the seasons. I know that we don’t have one for Halloween.

Counting books are great to have for kids because they each get their own and can work through the books at their own pack. They are a great simple easy reader book.

The counting easy reader books and really simple and easy and kids love them. They are great for kids to have their own little book to read and counting with.

Each page in the book has candy corn to count, a number to trace and a sentence to read. It has sight words: I, see.

How to use the Candy Corn Counting Easy Reader Book

Trace the number and color the candy corns and underline the number in the sentence. It is a great way to work on counting and working on numbers. I love to have crayons for this.

I love looking for seasonal erasers each fall and there are so many places to grab them. We use them all the time. I found some cute candy corn themed one and we used them to cover the candy corn as we read.

But if you can it is fun to use Candy Corn on the pages! This is a fun way to count and then eat the candy corn at the end.

If you have unifix cubes they work great for counting up on each page and covering the candy corn. You can use them to cover them and see how the numbers go up on each page with a one to one correspondence.

If you want more of a dot marker themed you can grab the Candy Corn Dot the Number & Count the Number. They have numbers 0 to 20 but you can use the number you are focused on from the book. We used unifix cubes on the dots.
