CVCC Word Family Dot Marker: AND, END, IND, & OND

Dot makers printables have to be one of our favorite learning tools. My girls never pass up a chance to use them. I know they use using them over and over.

They make learning our CVCC words so much more fun! Today I have the next set of CVCC Word family printables out for -and, -end, -ind, & -ond.

These are a great tool learning and working on words.

Each page has just one word on them. This allows you to focus on that word. I set up my centers with the papers they are doing and a dot marker. Because that is one of my girls’ favorite ways to do these words.

You can also mix things up and make it a reusable center by using a hands-on item to cover the circles. We use the glass gems a lot for this.

There are many different ways to use these pages. I’m always trying to new ways to use them. Here are just a few of the items we use with these pages:

• dot markers
• abc stamps – matching stamp to the circle on the letter
• transparent counters
• stickers
• glass gems
• finger prints

One thing we do as she dots the letters is sound them out. Then we blends the words together.
