Earth Day is coming up quick. It always sneaks up on me in April. I thought that I would add some fun bookmarks for it! My older girls really have liked the seasonal bookmarks and I enjoy them as well. It is fun to change things up.

I try and be creative as the seasons pass us. We really have liked the bookmarks and it is often hard to find fun seasonal activities for older kids. I find that this is a fun way to add some seasonal fun for them.

Preparing the Earth Day Bookmarks
I plan on printing these Earth Day bookmarks on white cardstock and laminating them. It helps the bookmarks last longer as well. You could also use the stardust cardstock for the bookmarks. It add a little extra color on the bookmarks.
You can also put a little ribbon on them as well to decorate them. Use a hold punch to put out the circle and then use a green ribbon on the bookmarks.
The Earth Day coloring bookmarks would also go great with these bookmarks.

I have a few suggestion on how to use the Earth Day bookmarks. And you might have other ideas as well.
Keep You Place in Reading
The most simple way to use the Earth Day bookmarks is to use them to keep track of your reading. You can do this with any book kids are reading. You can use chapter books or picture books.
I keep extra in our library box so they can always get another if they need it. And Earth Day themes could be used all read.
