ABC Pumpkin Spin & Trace Printable
When I started making these I made these printables for someone who wanted a fun way to work on lowercase letters. I also have loads of requests for things in different fonts. I love changing things when I can.
The pumpkin ABC trace is a printable, that works great in many different fonts. You are going to find three font choices: print, cursive, and D´Nealian style.
Each of the pages has 6 letters for kids to work on.
ABC Pumpkin Spin & Trace Print
You can see the alphabet pumpkin spin and trace print version below. This is great for kids in prek (ages 4 to 5) and kindergarten (ages 5 to 6).

You can see the alphabet pumpkin spin and trace the cursive version below. This is great for kids working on cursive in second grade (ages 7 to) or third grade (ages 8 to 9).

And not everything does print so there is a fun alphabet pumpkin spin and trace with a d’nealian font. And this works great if you are looking for a different tracing font.

Ways to Use the ABC Pumpkin Spin & Trace Printable
You are going to see a few ways that we have used the pumpkin spin and trace letter printables.
How to Use the Pumpkin Letter Spinner
There is a pumpkin in the corner that you can make a spinner. You use a pencil and paperclip to make the spinner. You hold the pencil in the middle of the spinner and then flick the paper flip to make the spinner.
You can also use a clear spinners
clear spinner on the pumpkin. You can see how it fits over the pumpkin.
Setting Up A Pumpkin Spin & Trace Letter Center
You can see a simple set up below with the pencil and the paper clip for the letter tracing center. You could switch the paperclip for a clear spinner as well.
You could also give kids who are struggling to hold then give then a pencil with a pencil grip. This will help them hold the pencil better.
Spin and Trace Until One Letter Reaches the Top
After you spin and trace the letter that matches it. You go until one letter reaches the top or until they all reach the top.
You can also trace the letters with markers as well. Orange works great for the Fall.
You can also reuse the pumpkin spin and trace letter printable. You can put the page in a sheet protector
and then use dry erase markers to trace the letters.
You can print font style that works best for your child or class.
