Letter S Fine Motor Activities
Every now and then we do fun themes around the house. We have been doing some winter and snowflake themes. Right now we have been doing letter “S” activities. A few months ago I did a Letter “P” Activities. I thought it would be fun again to do something like that. Show you some activities we have been doing for the letter “S”. In this post you will find some fine motor we have done for the Letter “S’ The theme we took this time was snowflakes!

What you need for these activities: blue glass gems, foam snowflakes, Dot the S from the Winter Tot Pack, Melissa & Doug Deluxe Alphabet Stamp Set
, stamp pad
and markers.
One of our first activities was to print off the Letter S Dot Marker page from the Winter Tot Pack. The girls put blue glass gems on the circles.

Mary, my youngest stamped “Ss” in the circles. She did some upper case and some lower case. This was great to do fine motor pinch on the stamps and placement in the circles.

Amelia my middle girl did some writing of the letter S in the circles. This fun way to work the writing of the letter in the circles.

Another activity we did with snowflakes was to place gems on dot on the snowflake. This was fun. Mary did it buy getting out the number of gems that I asked for. Then counting them as she placed them on the snowflake.

I hope you enjoyed this fine motor letter S post! Look out for the snowflake crafts that we have been doing in the next week!
