Free Addition Wall Cards: 1 to 20

I’ve made several different types of wall cards on the site. We have enjoyed having them to use. I thought it was time to add another type of card: Addition Wall Cards. These show all the ways to add up to one number. I put in the numbers from 1 to 20 for kids to learn with.

I’ve made some wall cards for division and multiplication and we have really loved those.

Wall cards are an easy way to display something you want kids to learn. You could just put up one card at a time as you work on the numbers. I like to put up the 4 numbers up at a time on our tri-fold board. As we learn the numbers I change up what is on the board. You can always change up how you want to

Each of the cards has all the ways you can up to that number. It will have both numbers in the different spots. That means there will be 3+4=7 and 4+3=7. I put this in because sometimes when you are starting you don’t realize that they are the same thing. At least, it has been that way with my girls.

I printed them cards on colored cardstock with two pages on each page. I laminated them and put them on a ring so we could flip through them really easy. This is also great for when you have limited space at home to display them all.

One fun way we are going to be using these is with the Gumball: Ways to Add printables. It helps someone who is first starting out see all the ways on the printable to fill in the spots. If you have a younger child that might not guess all the numbers this helps them fill out the sheet.
