The beach has so many great themes like umbrellas, sandcastles, sun, surfboard and more. These fun beach themes are added to the beach alphabet tracing strips. These are great for all summer or just for a beach theme.
You have all 26 letters of the alphabet. They have examples of how to trace the letters and then several of the uppercase and lowercase letters to trace.
These are great for handwriting centers and provide a fun alternative to worksheets for practicing letters. These are great for kids in prek and kindergarten.

Beach ABC Tracing Strips Printables
The beach alphabet tracing strips are great for later PreK (ages 4 to 5) and Kindergarten (ages (5 to 6). You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for a summer beach theme. You have umbrellas, sandcastles, the sun, surfboards, sea star shell, and beach balls.
It is recommended that you print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and laminating them.

Ways to Use the Beach ABC Tracing Strips Printable
You can see below ways to use the alphabet tracing strips with kids.
Laminating the Beach ABC Tracing Strips
You are going to want to prepare the beach ABC tracing strips. You can print the tracing stirps on white cardstock and then laminate them. This helps them last longer.
You can laminate and then cut out or you the cut out the tracing strips and them laminate. You do what is best for you laminator. You can see that we laminate and then cut out the strips.
Storing the Beach ABC Tracing Strips
After you have our beach letter tracing strips cut out, store them on a ring. This keeps all the letters together and makes it easy to flip from one letter to another.

Setting up a Beach ABC Letter Tracing Centers
The beach letter tracing strips work great in learning centers. You can put just the letters you need or all the letters. You can give them the letters and a dry erase marker to use.
Here are some letter tracing ideas you can try this summer:
– Letters in their name
– Letter of sight words they are working on
– CVC words they are learning
– Vocab words
– Letter of the Day
– Spell beach words
– Summer spelling lists
– Summer handwriting center
You want this to be a fun change from basic handwriting activities during the summer.
Tracing the Letters
You can see how simple it is to trace the letters on the strips. Kids can trace just the letters on the main tracing are or they can trace the example and then the letters on the strip.
Do what works best for your kids. And remember if they are just starting out to be patient as they trace their letters.
You can also have kids trace just the uppercase letters or the lowercase letters. That is a fun way to learn the different letter cases.
Put ABC Tracing Strips in a Binder
Now if you love the idea of the beach letter tracing strips but don’t want to laminate. How about trying putting the pages in sheet protectors. Then you can store all the letters in a binder. Then you can flip through and trace the letters you are looking for.
And you don’t have to worry about laminating and cutting. And you still have a fun letter center. You can also pull one page out at a time for kids to do.
If the letters are in a binder, then tell them a letter to find. Kids will through the pages and find the letter they are looking for to trace.
