What is a digraph?
A digraph is two letters together that make one sound. Digraphs can be made up of vowels or consonants.
Some examples of consonant digraphs would be ch-, -ch, -ck, gh, kn-, ph, qu-, sh-, -sh, th-, -th, wh-, and wr-.

This digraph I-spry printable works on beginning and ending digraphs. You have a set of beginning h digraphs ch, ph, sh, th, wh, digraphs qu, kn, wr, and ending digraphs th, ch, and sh.
Each page has a list of words nine words to find on the side and several pictures of the digraphs for them to find.

Ways to Use the Digraph I Spy Printables
You will see a few ways to use this digraph I spy printables with kids. Plus these are super fun in centers.
Reivew the Digraph Sounds
You can start by reviewing the digraphs sounds at the top of the I-spy. The digraph I spy has letters grouped.
Then you can review the words in the list together or separately. They are reviewing the digraph sounds by having them say the words.
You could also have them underline the digraph in the words.
Find & Color the Digraph I Spy Printables
You can just read the list and find and color the digraphs. You can see we color coded our coloring of the digraphs that match the list.
And you can see the digraph was underlined in each word as well.
You could also have them color the other matching pictures that are not on the list but have the same digraph.
Find & Dot Marker the Digraph I Spy Printables
These are great no-prep digraph printables. If you are not up for coloring, you can always dot marker the digraphs.
Let them find the digraph picture and dot it. And then use the dot marker to check out off. A simple way to change things up.
Reuse the Digraph I Spy Printables
If you want to reuse these digraph I spy printable you can put them in sheet protectors or laminate them. This is a great way to use the I spy printable in a learning center.
