We have loved the beginning blends I spy and now we have an ending blends I spy.
This is a way to work on several different ending blends with t blends, l blends, n blends, and s blends. You have a mix of ending blends I spy to work on learning words and seeing the blend at the end of the word.
The I spy printables are a great way to work on the ending blends and a mix of words with similar ending blends. Plus it is a no-prep ending blend printable.

What is a ending blend?
A blend is when two or more consonants are blended together, but the letters in nest all make a separate sound.
ST would be an example of the consonant blend. So the word nest has the blend of st.
You sound out s and t sounds in the word nest. Nest is a word with an ending blend.
Ending blend examples are: -ct, -ft, -ld, -lf, -lk, -lp, -lt, -nd, -ng, -nk, -nt, -pt, -sk, -sp, -st.
This blends I-spry printable works on ending blends. You have a set of ending t blends, l blends, n blends, and s blends. Each page has a list of words nine words to find on the side and several pictures of the blends for them to find.

Ways to Use the Ending Blends I Spy Printable
Reivew the Ending Blend Sounds
You can start by doing the ending blend sounds for each of the letters at the top of the I-spy. The ending blends I spy has letters grouped together.
Then you can review the words in the list together or separately. By having them say the words they are reviewing the ending sounds as well.
Find & Color the Ending Blends I Spy Printables
You can read the list of words and then find the words. You could also have them underline the blend in the words. There are some words that have a beginning and ending blend.
You can color the matching blends picture with crayons or markers.
Find & Dot Marker the Ending Blends I Spy Printables
You can use dot markers on the pages. This makes it easy for kids who might not like to color.
They can just find the matching picture for the ending blend word and dot it. Then check off the word as they find them.
Reuse the Ending Blends I Spy Printables
If you want to reuse these ending blend I spy printable you can put them in sheet protectors or laminate them. This is a great way to use use the I spy printable in a learning center.
You can see we used clear counters to cover the pictures and check off the words with a dry eraser marker.
