Rainbow ABC Tracing Strip Printables
These are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for spring theme.
It is recommended that you print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and laminating them.
You can see an example of the tracing strips below. You can see the uppercase and lowercase letters on the strip with the example and the ones to trace with the rainbow.

Ways to Use the Rainbow ABC Tracing Strips Printable
You are going to see a few ways that we use these ABC tracing Strips for kids.
Laminating the Rainbow ABC Tracing Strips
One way to use these strips strips is to laminate them. This lets you use the letter tracing strips over and over.
You can laminate and then cut the tracing strips out. Or you can cut them out and then laminate. You should do what works best for your laminator.

Storing the Rainbow ABC Tracing Strips
You can store the rainbow letter tracing strips on a ring. You can use all the letter tracing strips together or narrow it down to a few that you are working on.
You can see we have the tracing strips on a ring. We use hole punch to make the place for the ring. And I have a favorite one that works on three pages laminated.
Setting up a Rainbow ABC Letter Tracing Centers
You can set up a simple letter tracing center for kids. You can use the letter tracing strips that you need and then put them on a ring with a dry erase marker. We have used colored but most often we use black on the tracing strips.
Some letter tracing center ideas are:
– Letters in their name
– Sight words they are working on
– CVC words they are learning
– Vocab words
– Letter of the Day
– Spell spring words
Tracing the Letters
Kids are going to trace the letters on the tracing strips. You can see that we traced the uppercase and lowercase letters on the strip. This is a fun idea for kids to do. You could also challenge them and ask for uppercase only or lowercase only.
Remember you don’t have to do all letters on the ring at one time.
Tracing on the Laminated Page
You can also skip the cutting up the laminated page by tracing the page after you laminate it. You can see we have one page and traced the first letters on each row.
You can do this and then the next day you trace the next letters.
