Ways to use the Roll a Cornucopia
Below you can see the most basic way to set up this activity. You have the food items above the cornucopia mat and the rolling sheet to the side. It is simple and easy to do.

We use the dice in dice a lot. They work great for the math part because you have one roll and get the two numbers. We have the 12-sided double dice and 6-sided double dice
.

No matter the mat they use they roll the die or dice. This allows them to do the math is needed or know what item they are going to pick.

Then they add the food item to the mat. And because there are many of each item you can keep going. You can see how many they have of each after so many rolls.

Now if they are doing the math have them record their rolls on the sheet. This allows them to practice their math on paper.

One fun thing about this rolling set is that many levels can work on this at the same time! When all my girls were younger we used these a lot to get all their practice in. You can have one doing the numbers 1 to 6 and have one working on multiplication. Just print extra of the parts!
