There are 47 pages of activities in the Romping & Roaring Letter A pack. I wanted to share just a few of these pages. These are loads of fun for kids to help learn their letters.
You have a mix of no-prep and hands-on pages in the set. This is a great beginning letter learning pack.
Apple Coloring Page for the Letter A
This is a simple coloring page. You have a picture of the apple and a simple sentence below the apple letting kids know A is for Apple.
Letter A Color and Trace Worksheet
You have a big letter A and the lowercase letter a for kids to color with an apple on the page. There is a sentences for kids to trace as well that says “A is for apple”. A fun coloring page with a little handwriting for kids to use.
Dot the Letter A on the Apple
This is a fun find the letter a on the apple. Kids can color or dot the letters that is on the apple. You can see we used markers to do the letters.
You could also have kids color the uppercase and lowercase letters different colors.
Stamp Letters on the Picture
Decorate the Letter Aa Worksheet Or Playdough MatYou can have loads of fun decorating the letter As. You can do this any way you want. There is no wrong way to decorate the letters.
You can see below that we used alphabet stamps to decorate our letter Aa. We use the uppercase stamp on the uppercase letter A and the lowercase letter on the lowercase letter a.

Apple And Letter A Prewriting Printables
There are three prewriting pages. each has an uppercase A apple tracing to a lowercase A apple. These are great for those just starting out with writing. It also helps kids match uppercase and lowercase letters.
You can put these pages in sheet protectors and use them over and over with dry erase markers.
Letter A Prewriting Practice Working up to Letters With Start & Stop
You have two pages of prewriting printables that work on the uppercase letter A and the lowercase letter a. You have start and stop to help with the prewriting and it has some of the angles and shapes of the letters A and a.
Trace Letters Aa Practice with Start & Stop
There are several different tracing pages in the letter A pack. You have some that build-up to the letter and different letter tracing pages.
This page is one of my favorites in that it has the uppercase and lowercase letter a together with stop and start for the tracing. You can put the stop and start letter pages in sheet protectors and use them over and over for writing practice.
Trace Letter A Handwriting Worksheet
You have similar page to the first page with the stop and start. But this page just has the uppercase and lowercase letters for kids to trace.
Letter A Tracing in Guidelines with Arrow Directions
You have the letter A and a in guidelines with arrows to help give kids directions on how to trace the letters. This is a great handwriting idea for kids who are progressing from start and stop to the letters.
Trace Letter Aa with Guidelines
After you have mastered the stop and start you can work on tracing without the stop and start helps. This has a row of uppercase letter A and lowercase letter a in guidelines. A great way to work on handwriting for the letter A.
Color the Uppercase and Lowercase Letter A

This is a great letter find printable that has the letter A mixed in with other letters to find and dot.
You can see below that we used clear counters to cover the letters as we found them. This is a great way to reuse the printable and make it hands-on.

This is a fun letter find for uppercase and lowercase letters You can see the color chart on the top left side of the paper. This helps kids know which letter to color in which way.

Letter A Matching Letters on Page
You have a fun matching activity where kids match the same letter and apple color. You match the same by drawing lines from the left side of the page to the right side of the paper. A fun matching activity for kids.
Letter A Roll & Count
You have a letter roll a sound. You have a letter a die that you can print and make. Then you have a matching roll and graph activity for the letter A. Kids will roll the dice and then graph the roll. They can roll until one reaches the top of all of the letters reach the top.
Dot Marker the Letters Aa
You have a dot marker page with an uppercase letter A and a lowercase letter a. You can see the letter behind the circles on the letters
Dot Marker Letter A & Apple
You have a dot marker page that has the uppercase letter on the left and a picture of the an apple on the right. Kids can dot the letter and circles on the apple. It makes a great fine motor activity for kids. They will working on this fun dot marker page.
Dot Marker the Letters Aa Different Font
You have another dot marker letter page with an uppercase letter A and a lowercase letter a in a different font. A fun way to show that letters can look different but still be the same letter.
Apple Shape Tracing Solid Line
You have 8 shapes on the page with circle square, triangle, rectangle, pentagon, oval, diamond, and heart. Each shape has an apple in the middle of the page. the shapes have big solid lines around the shape for kids to trace.
Apple Shape Tracing Dotted Line
You have the same shapes as the solid shapes but with thins dashed lines. This shape worksheet is a great progression from the thick lines to thin lines to work on shapes and fine motor.
These shape tracing pages are also great for reusing. You can put the page in a sheet protector and then trace the shapes with dry erase markers.
Color Capitol Letter A by Size
You have an uppercase letter color by size worksheet. This page has a mix of the letter A in a bubble font. You have a large letter A, a medium letter a and a small letter a. Each letter is a different color. The coloring code is at the top left hand side of the paper.
Color Lowercase Letter A by Size
You have a lowercase letter a color by size. This is works just like the uppercase letter a. This one just has smaller letters. Kids will color them by the size chart on the top left hand side of the paper.
Color Apple by Size Worksheet
You have an apple color by size activity for kids. You have a small, medium and large apple of the page. There is a color chart at the top left hand side of the paper. Kids will color all the apples by size on the page.
Uppercase Letter A Maze Worksheet
You have a letter maze that is all uppercase letters. You will follow the uppercase letter A from the top left hand side to the lower right hand side. You will find a mix of other uppercase letters around the uppercase letter A.
Lowercase Letter a Maze Worksheet
You have a lowercase letter a maze worksheet. You have only lowercase letters on this version. Kids will follow the letters through the maze and color each of the lowercase letter a’s that they see. It is great for recognizing letters with kids.
Uppercase & Lowercase Letter Maze
You also have a version that has a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters for kids to follow. You have a lot of other letters mixed in with the letter a. A great way to work on uppercase and lowercase recognition.

This is one of the three small books in the set. It focuses on a color word for each page. You have the letter A to color and the apple to color.

You have a small four page book with for the letter A. It has different three letter A words in the book. They are apple, anemone, and astronaut. A fun simple book with letter A words for kids to use.
Trace and Draw Book
You have a small book with letter a words in a tracing font with guidelines. Kids are to trace the words and then draw the picture of the word. A fun way to work on more letter A words.
Letter A Sorting Uppercase & Lowercase
You can sort uppercase and lowercase letters for A. You have six apples for each letter to sort. There is a sorting mat to help kids know which side to sort the letters.
Sort Apples by Size Printable
The sorting apple by size has three sizes for kids to learn. You have big, medium, and small apples. There are columns on the sorting page for each size. Kids are to sort the correct size on the paper.

Apple Lacing Card Printable
There is an apple lacing card in the set. It has circles around the apple that you can punch out and then use as a lacing card. It is great fine motor activity while working on the letter A.
