Ways to use the Romping & Roaring Shape: Heart Pack

You will see a the information one the pages from the romping and roaring free heart pack. These are just 10 of the pages available in the full heart pack.

Heart Prewriting Trace the Lines

You have a simple prewriting page with three different lines. You have a kid holding the heart shape and tracing the lines to the heart on the other side of the page.

You can use this for tracing with pencil or even crayons. You can also change things up and use them as playdough lines as well.

Heart Trace & Color Worksheet

The heart trace and color has a heart to color and a sentence at the bottom for kids to trace. It has a simple sentence.

It says “I see a heart.” Kids can trace the sentences and color the heart and the kid with the heart.

Heart Coloring Page

You have a heart coloring page with a mix of hearts to trace and hearts to color. You have the heart shapes. But there is also a heart word to trace and color. A fun way to mix in different ways to work on shapes.

Decorate the Heart

You have a heart page that is great for working on fine motor activities or coloring. You can kids find pictures of hearts to cut up and put on the page. Or you can make it a torn paper craft. This is really a flexible page for kids to use.

Heart Playdough Mat

You have a heart shape playdough mat. This is a simple heart shape in the middle of the page. You have have a small heart shape on the lower right side.

Kids will make playdough snakes to line the shape of the heart. You can laminate the page or put the page in a sheet protector. The use then you playdough.

Heart Word Playdough Mat

You also have a heart word playdough mat. This allows you to also work on the spelling and heart name as well as working on the shape.

Each letter in the word heart has bubble letters for kids to make playdough snakes to lines the letters. You can prepare this playdough mat the same way you do the heart shape playdough mat.

Color the Word Heart by Letters

You have another fun shape word printable. This one allows kids to color the letters in the word heart in different colors. Each letter has a different color for kids to color. The color code is at the bottom of the page.

Heart Shape Tracing with Stop and Start

You have a heart stop and start tracing page. This is a great fine motor mat that allows you to trace the heart shape and kids stop and start to help kids with tracing the shape. It allows them to find rest points while tracing the shape. Or just easy guides for tracing the shape.
