We used crayons for our scarecrow coloring below. You can left kids be creative with their coloring and see how they color the scarecrow.

You can use the scarecrow template for a torn paper craft for kids. You can give them construction paper to tear up and glue on the paper.

Setting up a Scarecrow Tracing Center
You can set up a scarecrow tracing center for kids. You can give them the scarecrow tracing page with or with out the face. Then give them a pencil and let them trace all the lines. They can trace some of the lines or all of the lines.
If they need extra help with holding the pencil you can give them a pencil grip.
You can also use the tracing page over several days for kids who tracing with fine motor tracing.
Tracing & Drawing the Scarecrow Face
You can also have kids trace the lines with crayons and then draw the scarecrow face on the page. You can see we used different colors of crayons for the lines on the scarecrow face. It is great fine motor practice and some times a crayon is easier to hold than a pencil because it is shorter.
You can see we also drew a face on our scarecrow. And let kids be creative on the face that they draw.
Reuse the Scarecrow Tracing Page
You can also reuse the scarecrow tracing printable. You can put the scarecrow tracing page in a sheet protector or laminate the page. Then you use dry erase markers to trace all the lines.
You can see we used the sheet protector and then traced the lines with dry erase marker. And you can wipe off the tracing and use the page again.

Use Dot Markers on the Dot Marker Scarecrow Page
You can use dot markers to dot the scarecrow. This is great for kids to dot the circles and work on hands-eye coordination as they use the dot markers.
You can use different colors of dot markers to make the face or use one dot marker to dot the the dots on the scarecrow.
Reuse the Dot Marker Scarecrow Page
You can also reuse the dot marker scarecrow page. We have a mix of different colors of glass gems. We used those glass gems to make our scarecrow.
You could also use clear counters on the circles as well. This is great for fingers to work on picking up the glass gems and placing them on the cirlces.
