School Pack for Tot, Preschool, PreK & Kindergarten
This free School printable pack is made to be used with tot (ages 2 to 3), preschool (3 to 4), prek (ages 4 to 5) and kindergarten (ages 5 to 6). There are 77 pages of printables in the two different school packs.
You are going to find a mix of activities from tot to kindergarten in the two packs. You have a school pack for Tot & Preschool and a school pack for PreK & Kindergarten age kids. You will find a detailed list of what is in each pack below.
You can mix and match the different parts of the school pack and use what works best for the kids you have. Plus these packs are very flexible!

You will find information about the different pages in the school pack for prek (ages 4 to 5) and kindergarten (ages 5 to 6)
School Vocab Card Printables
You have 27 different school vocab words for kids to use. You have the following words in the pack: old lady, books, pen, pencil case, ruler, folder, chalk, bag, backpack, bulletin board, bus, abacus, crayons, globe, glue stuck, highlighter, markers, paints, paint brush, pencils, colored pencils, draft triangle, protractor, scissors, blackboard, stacks and star.
There are all great words that kids can learn for school. The first 9 words are ones you will find in the book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books!.
School 3 Part Card Printables
Each of the school vocab cards has to match 3 part cards. These are cards that have the bottom of the word you can cut off. You can match the picture and the word to the vocab cards. This is great for recognizing words and pictures
Which One is Different Worksheets
You have three different school themed worksheets for which one is different. Each row has five pictures. and one of the pictures is different. Kids are to find and mark which one is different. They might be directions or colors. A fun way to work on finding what is different.
What Comes Next Worksheet
You have three different what comes next school worksheets. They have patterns of AB and ABC with different patterns on each line. A fun way to work on cutting and pasting the correct pattern on each page.
School Prewriting Practice Printable
You have two school prewriting practice printables. Each page has four lines for kids to trace. All the lines on each of the pages is different for kids to trace.
The first prewriting page has simpler lines and the second page has more complex lines. You can also find more school prewriting printables on the site.
School Pattern Cards
You have three pictures for the school patterns cards. You have an old lady, books and then a backpack. These are great for kids building patterns with the pictures.
You can print the cards twice to have extra cards to make patterns. You can make AB and ABC patterns with kids. You can start the pattern in a pocket chart and have kids finish the pattern. A great hands-on pattern activity.
School Matching Card Printables
You have matching cards that match the 27 vocab cards. These are just pages with the images that kids can match the same picture.
You can set up a simple matching activity in a pocket chart or maybe set up a matching game on a table. Either way kids will work on finding and matching the same picture.
School 4 Piece Puzzle Printables
You have 16 different school themes four piece puzzles. Each page has two puzzles on the page. You can print them on cardstock and laminate to help them last longer.
Kids will work on matching the pictures to make the picture. A fun idea for younger kids is to print the puzzles twice and have them match the pieces of the puzzles to the picture.
School 10 Piece Puzzle Printables ( 1 to 10, 11 to 20, 21-30)
You have three different 10 piece puzzles. You have a 1 to 10 puzzles with the globe on the page. You will find a 11 to 20 puzzle with the pictures that match the book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books!. And the last puzzles if 21 to 30 with different school themes on the puzzle.
These puzzles work great when you print them on cardstock and laminate the puzzles.
School Number Clip Cards 1 to 15
You have clip cards on the page that have a school theme. Each clip card has three numbers at the bottom with pictures at the top to count. Kids will clip to number that matches how many they counted on the card.
You can use clothespins to clip the numbers and these work best when printed on cardstock.
School Word Beginning Sound Clip Cards
You have school word beginning sound clip cards. Each clip card has a picture and three letters below to clip the beginning sound. These beginning sound clip cards are great for kids in prek and kindergarten.
You have 27 beginning sound clip cards. And you can use the vocab cards to see if kids clipped the correct letter.
Book Size Sequencing Printable
You have five different sizes of a red book. Kids are to work on seeing the differences between the sizes. You can put them in order from smallest to biggest and biggest to smallest. It is a great way to for kids to see the differences in sizes.
Sorting Pencils & Books
You have a fun sorting worksheet that can also just be a hands-on activity. There are different colors of books and pencils for kids to cut and sort to the correct word on the page.
A fun way to see what is similar but different colors and that they are still the same.
School theme Cutting Practice Worksheet
You have a cutting worksheet that has cutting form the left side of the paper to the right side. You have four different cutting lines for kids to practice on. It is a fun way to do a little scissor practice for kids in prek and kindergarten.
School Word Pocket Chart Card Printables
You have pocket chart words that match the vocab words. Each page has five words on them with the matching picture of the word. These are great to use to display words on the wall or to use the in a writing center for kids. And you do have all 27 words that you can use with kids.
Tracing Beginning Sounds for School Words Strips
You have a beginning sound tracing strips for kids. They have a picture on the left side and then tracing the lowercase letters for kids. These are great for beginning sound and for letter handwriting practice for kids.
You could also have kids trace these letters strips before doing the beginning sound clip cards.
Tracing School Words Strip Printables
You have the same words as the pocket chart cards but with tracing the words in guidelines. You have the picture on the left like the letter tracing, but this has the whole word for kids to trace. A great way to work on spelling of each word and handwriting.
Writing School Word Strip Printables
You have school work writing strips to work on writing the words. You can use the pocket chart cards for kids to look at the words and then write the word on the writing strips.
It has a picture on the left side guidelines for kids to write the words. There are great for writing centers for kids in kindergarten.
Numbers & Pictures for Math Mats
You have two set of numbers with 1 to 10 and 1 to 20. You also have 0 and the symbols for greater than and less than with a bus to help with the directions.
You have a collection of pictures of school supplies. They can be using on the mats or you can use hands on items.
Adding School Supplies Mat Printable
You have an addition math with the equation at the bottom with squares for making the numbers in the equation. You can use hands-on items or pictures from the pack to make the equation with items.
Then kids build the addition equation based on the items they placed on the mat. You could also use the addition flashcards to help with making the equation.
Kids will solve the equation and then put the answer for the equation.
The school math mats work great when printed on cardstock and laminated so you can us them over and over.
Subtracting School Supplies Mat Printable
You have a subtraction school mat for kids. You have the bulletin board and then a subtraction equation at the bottom of the page with square for the numbers.
Kids ban build their own subtraction equation or they can use the subtraction flashcards for help with subtraction equations to do.
Greater Than / Less Than School Supplies Mat Printable
You have a school math mat for greater than and less than. You have a bulletin board and three boxes at the bottom for the numbers and then symbol to compare the numbers.
Counting School Supplies Mat Printable
The school counting math has a bulletin board and a space to put the number. You have have kids count out items and then find the matching number.
Or you can have then grab a number and then count of school items to match the number. This is a very simple counting mat for kids in prek.
Book Color the Pattern Worksheet
You have a color the pattern page for kids. This is a great worksheet to have kids make a pattern and then color the books. You can start a pattern on the page and have kids finish the pattern. You can do AB patterns or ABC pattern. You could do more complex pattern for older kids.
Book Color by Size Worksheet
You have the book in three different sizes. You have big, medium and small sizes. Kids will color the books using the color code in the top left hand side of the the page.
Fill in the Missing Pattern
You have another pattern worksheet. This one has patterns that are complete but part of the patterns are missing somewhere in the pattern. Kids are to cut out the pictures that match the correct pattern on the page. There are AB and ABC patterns on the two worksheets
School themed Small Folding Book
You have small books that kids can fold and make into a book. Each book has 7 vocab words. There are two versions with one with a print words and one with a tracing word option.
You can find instructions to make the small books, if you need help making them.

Yu are going to see information about each of the pages in the school pack for tot (ages 2 to 3) and preschool (ages 3 to 4).
School Prewriting Practice with Thick Lines
You have a school theme prewriting lines for kids. Each line is a thick solid line that kids can trace. Each page has three lines and all three lines are the same.
These prewriting printables are great for kids just starting to work on fine motor because they are bigger lines for them to trace.
School Themed Cutting Practice Printable
You have five cutting practice strips. You can cut out the strips and have kids cut the thick lines on each line.
You can have kids glue the pictures on a paper after they have cut them out.
School 2 Piece Puzzle
You have school supplies that are made into puzzles that have two pieces. You can work on making a matching center with the puzzles. These are simple to help kids match two parts of the same picture.
Coloring the Book Small Book
You have a small book that works on colors. It has simple sentences like: The book is red. On each page the color words is in the color of the word.
You can work on color words and sight words. If you need help with color words use the color word bookmarks to help with colors.
School Supplies Matching
You have a set of matching cards. These matching card match up to the pictures from the prek and kindergarten page. Print them off twice to make a match activity with both cards cut out.
Or make a matching page with one page keep together and the second set of matching cards cut out. Then match the cards to the page.
School 9 Piece Puzzle Printable
You have a 9 piece puzzle with all the items from the book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books!. Kids can see the pictures and the old lady on the puzzle.
You can print off the puzzle twice and have kids match the puzzles pieces if they are just starting out. Kids will have fun making this puzzle.
