Using the Shark Template at a Coloring Page
You can see how simple it is to make a shark template a coloring page. You will have kids who just love coloring with crayons.
You could also paint this page with watercolors or paint sticks.

Use the Shark template for a Shark Craft
You can also use the shark template for a shark craft. You could do a shark craft torn paper craft. You can cut out the shark shape and then trace on a piece of paper and then tear up paper to make the shark outline. Add water and eyes to complete the shark craft.

Setting Up a Tracing Center
You can set up a tracing center for kids with the shark. This is a great change from prewriting lines. You can use a pencil to trace the lines. You can also add a pencil grip for kids who struggle to hold the pencil.
Older kids might trace the shark in one sitting and younger kids might take longer to trace the shark. You have different lines with circles, triangles, and crescents on the shark.

Reuse the Shark Tracing Worksheet
You can also use the shark tracing worksheet in a fine motor center. You can put the page in a sheet protector and then use dry erase markers to trace the lines of the shark. You can then use the shark over and over in a tracing center. You could also laminate the page if you are going to use it a lot.

You can do the simple activity of using a dot marker on the shark. You can see how simple it is to dot marker the shark. We use blue dot marker, black dot marker and a silver or gray color dot marker.

Make the Shark Dot Marker Page a Hands-On Activity
You can also use glass gems to make this a hands-on activity for kids. We use clear glass gems, black glass gems and blue glass gems to cover the circles on the shark.
This is a great fine motor to pick up and place all the glass gems on the shark.

Ways to Use the Shark Q-Tip Printable
You can see below how we used the shark q-tip page. It is great fine motor painting activity with q-tips or cotton swabs. Kids will dip the cotton swabs in the paint and then dot the shark. You can see how cool the shark looks when you are done.
