Ways to Use the Shark Number Counting Game Printable
You are going to see a few ways to use the shark counting game.
Setting Up the Shark Number Counting Game
You can see a simple set up below for the shark counting. You are going to have a die, items to cover the numbers and a game piece. We use a shark counter, clear glass gems and a red die we happen to have.
If you don’t have any dice you can get one with the number dice on the site.

Playing the Shark Counting Game
To play the shark game, you are going to start at the top left hand side of the board game. Kids will roll a die then move around the board game that many spaces.
They will count the shark teeth and then find and cover that number. There are two or three of each number in the center of the game.
Kids will go around the outside of the board game until they can get four numbers in a row. You can do horizontal or vertical for younger kids and older kids can do at an angle.

Playing the Shark Number Game with Two Players
You can also use this game with two players. You are going to have two game pieces and two different colors of items to cover the numbers.
You can see how one game might play out. Each take turns rolling the die and moving around the board game and then covering the matching number.
A fun way to do a group activity with numbers.

Single Use Shark Game
This shark counting game is also great to use as a homework or a single use. You can use crayons, dot markers, or markers to color the numbers in the center.
You can still use a game piece and die for it. It is fun to see the numbers they landed on in the game.
