One think we do to prepare the shark number tracing strips is to laminate them. You want to print them on cardstock and then laminate the pages.
You can see we like to laminate the pages and then cut the number tracing strips out. You can cut and the laminate if that works best for your laminator.

Clean Dry Erase Marker with a Cotton Swab
I know that you don’t always want to wait to clean off the strips. And a fun trick you can do is to give kids cotton swab or q-tip and have them wipe off the dry erase marker using the cotton swab.
My girls now call this my sneaky way to add more handwriting practice and fine motor work at the same time.

Way To Use The Laminated Sheets For Handwriting
You can see below that you can laminate the number tracing strips and not cut them apart. You can trace the pages before they are cut out. You can do one number each day until all the numbers are traced.
You can do this before you cut the number tracing strips. You could also skip the laminating and use a sheet protector for the same type of tracing.
