Free Skip Counting Bookmarks Printable

Skip counting is something we are always working on. It is an easy way to work in some easy math memorizing. We have been using a lot of bookmarks lately. It is easy to put in a book and pull them out to review.

These are loads of fun to add a little extra learning in with your reading. They are fun bookmarks from 2 to 12.

The Skip Counting Bookmarks Printable is a great addition to the skip counting printables and bookmark printables on the site.

What is Skip Counting?

Skip counting is working on adding the same number over and over. You have a pattern of adding or counting.

So if you skip counting by 2s, you have a pattern like, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and so forth. These patterns can be repeated for many numbers.

Most often the skip counting numbers used are 2 through 12. And that is what these printables work on: numbers 2 through 12, skip counting twelve times.

These bookmarks are great for working on skip counting numbers with kids in second grade (ages 7 to 8), third grade (ages 8 to 9) and review for fourth grade (ages 9 to 10).

These skip counting bookmarks are really easy to use. There are 4 bookmarks for each page. The numbers go down the bookmark and make it really easy to read the numbers. Each number skip counts 12 times.

Ways to Use the Skip Counting Bookmarks

You will see a few ways to use the skip counting bookmarks.

Print the Skip counting Bookmarks on Cardstock and Color the Numbers

One fun ideas is because these are black and white you can color the numbers at the top. Print the bookmarks on white cardstock and then use crayons or markers to color the numbers.

You can color the number at the top when you learn the skip counting numbers or at the start.

Laminating the Skip Counting Bookmarks

Because the skip counting bookmarks get used more than any other bookmark that I have made it is great to print on color cardstock. The colored cardstock works great for the different seasons or holidays.

Then laminate the skip counting bookmarks. You can laminate and then cut them out or cut our them bookmarks nad then laminate. Do what works best for your laminator.

Store the Skip Counting Bookmarks on a Ring

After you have the bookmarks prepare and ready to use you can store them on a ring. The ring lets you take skip counting on the go. You can start with one bookmarks and add bookmarks to the ring are you learn a new skip counting number.

And you can always take the skip counting bookmarks on the go.

Reading the Skip Counting Numbers

You can work skip counting with kids. You can have them start at the top of the numbers and read the numbers to the bottom.

You can challenge them to skip counting 4 times on a bookmark and tell you the number. these also work great with help for other skip counting printables. You can use them with skip counting puzzles, skip counting clip cards and more.
