Ways to Use the Summer Sports Words Book Printable
Make a Summer Words Book
You can staple the book on the left side to make a book that kids can flip through. You can pick the sports you want or use them all.
You will want to use a stapler that can handled 18 pages.
Trace and Write the Summer Sport Words
You can start with kids tracing and writing the summer sports words. You can give them a pencil for the tracing and writing. You could also do markers or crayons.
If kids have problems holding a pencil you can use a pencil grip to help.
Color the Summer Sports
You can have kids color the summer sports at the top of each page. You could do this first if kids need help saying all the summer sport names.
So just color the pictures and talk about the sport the first time.
Reuse the Summer Sport Word Book
You can also reuse these summer sports pages. You can place all of the pages in sheet protectors and kids can trace and write the sport words all they want.
We use dry erase markers for the tracing.
We do this a lot to reuse pages. This is also a great way to reuse the page in a learning center.
