The Free Tooth ABC Tracing Strips printables are great for Dental Health month! Kids can have fun tracing their uppercase and lowercase letters with this tooth theme.
These are a simple printable that work great in learning centers for kids. They can work on al 26 letters of the alphabet. Or they might work on the letters that they are learning.
Each letter has uppercase and lowercase with examples of how to trace the letters.

Tooth ABC Tracing Strip Printables
The Tooth ABC Tracing Strip printables are great for later PreK and Kindergarten. You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for dental health letter learning center.
It is recommended that you print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and laminating them.
You can see an example of the tracing strips below. You can see the uppercase and lowercase letters on the strip with the example and the ones to trace with the tooth.

Ways to Use the Tooth ABC Tracing Strips Printable
You are going to see how we use and prepare the tooth alphabet tracing strips.
Laminating the Tooth ABC Tracing Strips
One of the things we like to do with the tracing strips is laminate them. You can do this one of two ways.
The first way is to cut the the strips and then laminate the strips. This can take extra time cutting and preparing but some people really like this way better.
The second way is to laminate the page and then cut out the page after it has been laminated. This is the way that I like to do but not everything does. You can see below a laminated page of the tracing strips.
Oh and you can just use the page laminated as well!
Storing the Tooth ABC Tracing Strips
We store all the letter tracing strips on rings. We use a 1 inch ring. And we use our favorite hole punch to punch out the circles. And that hole punch can do three pages printed on cardstock and laminated!
Setting up a Tooth ABC Letter Tracing Centers
You can see a simple set up below for a letter tracing center. You are going to use the tracing strips that you need. Or use them all.
Some letter tracing center ideas are:
– Letters in their name
– Sight words they are working on
– CVC words they are learning
– Vocab words
– Letter of the Day
– Spell dental health words
Tracing the Letters
You use a dry erase marker to trace the letters. You can give them a colored marker. But I find the black cleans off easier.
You can trace the letter several time or just one time and more to the next tracing strip. It is easy for kids to do. But if you have someone who is overwhelmed with a lot of things give them one strip at a time to trace.
Trace one Letter Case at a Time
You can also change this up and tell them to trace just the uppercase letters one time. The next time they trace just the lowercase letters.
You can trace the example at the same time. You can change this up for kids as they progress in their handwriting.
