Ways to Use the Veteran’s Day ABC Tracing Strips Printable
You are going to see a few ways to use the Veterans day letter tracing strips with kids. And remember you might have other ideas as well for these.
Laminating the Veteran’s Day ABC Tracing Strips
You are going to want to prepare the letter tracing strips. You can print the letter tracing strips on cardstock and the laminate the pages.
You can laminate before you cut or cut and then the strips. Do what works best for you laminator. You can see we that laminate and then cut out the tracing strips.
Storing the Veteran’s Day ABC Tracing Strips
A great way to store the alphabet tracing strips is to put them on a ring. We use a hole punch on the circles on the cards for where the ring goes.
You can see how simple it is to keep the letters on the ring and then you can flip through the letters on the ring.
Setting up a Veteran’s Day ABC Letter Tracing Centers
You can set up a tracing center for kids. You can give them all or just some of the letter tracing strips.
You put them one you are going to use a on ring, with a dry erase marker to trace the letters.

Tracing the Letters
You can see how simple it is to trace the letters. You can use a dry erase marker to trace the letters. We have found that black dry erase markers work better on laminated strips.
You can do color buy have a dry erase marker cleaner ready to use to clean off the marker.
Trace Only one Letter Case at a Time
You can also challenge kids to trace just the uppercase letters or lowercase letters. Kids can pick one. You can trace the examples and then find and trace the matching letter on the strip.
You can do uppercase and the lowercase, or switch it and have them do lowercase and then uppercase.
