My girls have always loved learning with puzzles. It has been fun to add puzzles into their learning. It makes the learning hands on and works on them putting the fractions in the correct order.

I know that my girls have loved having different themes for the last few years to work on different concepts.

Each of the garden fraction puzzles is vertical. The puzzles have the fractions on the right side and the picture they are making on the left. I laminate each of the puzzles. This makes the puzzles last longer.

You are going to find fractions for the following numbers: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10.

Ways to use the Garden Fraction Puzzles

Compare the Different Fractions with the Puzzles

All the fraction puzzles fit in the same space so they work great for building and comparing the fractions. You can build the two fraction puzzles together to see the differences in the sizes.

This allows you to compare the difference between 1/5 and 1/4.

Mix up the Fraciton Puzzles

I love to mix up the fraction puzzle and give it to them to figure out how it should fit on the page. As they make the puzzles I ask them what fraction they made.

So you have the 1/8 puzzle printable and as you build you can see the numbers go up. So they start with 1/8 and then find 2/8. You can say you have 2/8 of a whole.
