- q-tip or cotton swab

How We Made The Ghost Scrape Painting
You can see the steps below that we used to make the Ghost Scrape painting.
Step 1: Paint On Paper Plate Or Tray
You want to put enough paint on the paper plate so that you can place the whole ghost cookie cutter in the paint.

Step 2: Put the Ghost in the Paint
You can see we placed the ghost cookie cutter in the white paint. You are going to want to make sure that the paint covers the edges of the ghost cookie cutter.

Step 3: Scrape Paint With The Ghost Cookie Cookie Cutter
You place the cookie cutter on the paper. You can see we have white around the ghost cookie cutter.

Then you pull the cookie cutter down towards the bottom of the paper. This scrapes the paint on the paper. It lives a fun shpae of the ghost but a fun effect with the scrape painting.

Step 4: Keep Scrape Painting Ghosts On The Paper
You are going to keep scrape painting ghosts on the paper. You can get several ghosts on the paper.
If you have older kids you can challenge them to use paint at the top of the ghost cookie cutter to do the scrape painting for a different effect.

Step 5: Add Eyes and Mouths to Ghosts
You finally will use a q-tip with black paint to add eyes and mouths to each of the ghosts. You can see how fun they look at the have the final part for the craft added.
