How we made the Glitter Olympic Torch Craft
There are only a few simple steps to make this Olympic Torch craft. You can see them all below.
Step 1: Tear up the Glitter paper
You start by tearing up the glitter paper. You can have kids do this or have it done before they start.
I like to have them tear up the paper. It adds great fine motor skills for them to tear the paper.
Step 2: Glue on the Torch Handle
You start off by gluing on the handle of the torch. You put the glue on the back. They can have fun with the glue. we used liquid glue but you could also use a glue stick.
Then you place the torch handle at the bottom of the paper. You want to have loads of space to make the flames on the torch. And they can also work on trying to make sure it is in the center of the paper.
Step 3: Glue on the Torn Paper for the Flame
Then you take the torn paper to make the flame on the Olympic torch. It is simple and easy. You can have them put the glue over the area they will place the red, orange, and yellow paper. Or you can glue them one at a time.
