How We Made the Paint Stick Fireworks Painting
You will see all the steps that we did below. And this is very similar to the oil pastel fireworks we have made.
Step 1: Draw your Firework with Pencil First
You can start off with the kids drawing the fireworks on the page. This is a help for kids who might want to make the firework look a certain way and want to plan on out how they will look on the page.
You can see we drew simple fireworks on the paper.

Step 2: Paint your Fireworks
Then you are going to use the paint sticks to paint the fireworks you drew on the paper. You can see how simple it is to use the paint stick on the paper to trace the pencil lines.
And you can change between small and big lines with the paint stick.

You can also just skep the first time and start using the paint sticks and just paint away! This is a great idea for older kids who just want to paint.

Step 3: Add More Fireworks
The paint sticks are so much fun you can quickly add more fireworks on the page And switching between colors is easy and simple to do.
And it is simple to make a thick line and thin line with the paint sticks.

And you can always go back and add more details to your firework painting. And keep going as much as they want.

If they paint a few that is okay. Let kids decide how they want to paint their fireworks. And it will be amazing what they do and how different every firework painting looks.
And if they paint something that dose not look like fireworks that is okay as well.
