How we made the Paint Stick Poppy Painting
You are going to see all the steps we used to make the paint stick poppy painting.
Step 1: Paint the Small Grass
You are going to use the green paint stick to make small lines of grass or green plants at the bottom of the paper. It is about 1 1/2 or 2 inches high on the bottom of the paper.
We used a piece of scrap paper until our painting paper so that the extra paint went on the paper and not of the table.

Step 2: Paint the Stems
Next you are going to paint the stems for the poppy painting. You can see we made somewhat straight lines from the middle of the paper to the green.
You can do a mix of heights for the poppies that you are painting. Let kids decide how many poppies and how might they should be.

Step 3: Paint the Poppies on the Stems
Then we painted the poppies. We made a circles at the top of the green stem. The circles can be a mix of cirlce like shapes for the poppies.
If you press harder the poppies will fill in more. And if your press lighter it will show the texture of the paper. And let kids decide which way they want to paint.

Step 4: Paint the Center of the Poppies Black
The final step that we did was to paint the black center of the poppy. We made circles with the black pain stick in the center or close to the center of the red circles we painted.
You can see how much fun the poppies look on the paper.
