How we made the Paper Roll Painted Truffula Tree
You will see all the steps below we use to make the paper roll painted Truffula Tree-.
Step 1: Put the Paint on the Paper Plates
we use two paper plates for this. We used one for the colored tops of the trees. And one for the brown for the truck of the truffula tree.
The brown color we put on the paper plate in a circle shape.
You can see below we did the pink, orange and purple in long lines for the paint. This is because we will be flattening the paper rolls.

Step 2: Put the Paper Rolls in the Paint
We took three paper rolls and swished them flat. Then we placed them in the paint on the a paper plate. You are going to want to spread the paint around on the paper roll to make sure all the side of the paper roll are cover.
You are going to place one paper roll that is still round in the brown paint.

Step 3: Make the Trunk of the Truffula Trees
We started off painting the trunks of the truffula trees. We did one trunk at a time. It is fun at times that the paper roll makes a bubble on the paper the fill in the circle or pops on the paper for a fun design.

Afer we finished one tree trunk we made another. You can see that we only make tree trunks, but you can make more truffula trees if you want. And some kids might want to make more. And that is okay to let them paint more trees.

Step 4: Painting the The Tops Truffula Trees
You are going to pick a color and start stamping the swished paper roll on the paper. Kids can move the paper roll in different angles to make the tree. And remember no tree will look the same that that is okay.
it is okay to overlap the stamps to make the top of the truffula tree look fuller. But kids may have their own ideas about how they will of the top.

You can see how the tree looks with the finished top of the truffula tree. If kids only painted a little but that is okay. And if the tree is full at the top that is okay. Every tree will be different.

Step 5: Keep Painting Trees Tops Until Finished
You are going to want to keep painting until all of the truffula tree trunks you made now have fun colored tops to finished the Truffla treed.
And remember kids might want to change how they do this and that is okay! Everyone can have theirs be slightly different and still be okay.

And just like that your Truffula Tree Painting is done!
