Ways to Use the Pencil Multiplication Roll and Cover Printable
You are going to see set up and a few ways to use these printables. And I love that this type of mat can be used all of the school year or back to school time.
Setting Up the Spinner
There are a few ways to use the spinner. You want t make sure you use the spinner that matches the set of numbers you are working on.
You have a clear spinners over the top of the spin and just spin the arrow. We like using it this way. It is also easy for kids to use.
You can also use a pencil and paperclip. You place the paperclip in the center and the pencil inside the paperclip. Then you flick the paperclip to make it spin around the pencil.
Spinning and Doting the Multiplication Answers
It is fun to set up a learning center for kids. You might not want to do the roll and cover part and some times a spinner is easier for kids to use.
You will spin the spinner and then add the number to the equation on the page. Then you will solve the multiplication equation. After you have the answer you look for the answer on the pencil and dot the number.

Using Multiplication Cards with the Pencil Mats
Now you can skip the spinner and dice and just use the multiplication flashcards with the set. You can use the cards to get the multiplication equate for kids to writ in.
They solve the problem and then find the number on the pencil.
