Placemats For Our Feasts

There are so many different feasts at this time of year. My girls love making placemats every year for Thanksgiving and using them through the Holiday seasons. There are so many different books that we read about feasts at this time of year. I posted about some of the in the introduction post for the theme.

Some of our favorite books are Bear Says Thanks (The Bear Books), Latkes, Latkes, Good to Eat: A Chanukah Story, I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie (Picture Puffins) and The Sweet Smell of Christmas (Scented Storybook) (Not so much feasts for this one but Christmas foods we love).

There are so many fun feasts that happen at this time of year with so many different holidays. We just love that you can learn so much about them.

What you need for this activity: placemat from the Dishes Pack and crayons.

This is simple to do. We talk about our favorite foods and what we want to eat. We put them on the placemats to remind us during the season of what our favorite things are. There are always so many different foods to try.
