These are just a few ways you can use the poppy template. I love that because it is a template you can use many ways.
Fill in the Poppy Template Printable
We always have loose items around the house and the acrylic red rocks and black acrylic rocks work great for filling the parts of the poppy.
Color the Poppy Template Printable
You can also color the poppy. It is a great way to work on coloring and talking about what a poppy means. You can use crayons or markers to color the poppy.

Ways to Use the Poppy Tracing Mat Printable
The fine motor tracing printable is great for working fine motor control with a pencil, crayons or markers. If you are doing a pencil and have issues holding the pencil try using a pencil grips.

You can see used crayons to trace the poppy. We used black for the center and red for the poppy petals.

You can put either of the poppy tracing printables in a sheet protector or laminate them. Then use dry erase markers to trace the flower. You can use black for the center and red for the poppy’s petals.
