I love water bead sensory bins because there are so many ways to play in them. And today we have a fun rainbow themed water bead sensory bin for kids to explore.

This bin is great for spring activities, and St. Patrick’s Day activities!

I love pairing up books with are different activities and A Rainbow of My Own is a great book to go with this sensory bin. It is always fun to do a little reading.

Things to use with The Rainbow Water Bead Sensory Bin

The acrylic rocks come with some clear white and we took those out.

How we used our Rainbow Water Bead Sensory Bin

It is just fun to explore in these bins. The acrylic rocks make a sound as you explore through the sensory bin. You can hear them mix around with each other.

We also love to scoop up the water bead and pour them right back into the bin. This is great fun to feel the difference between the beads and the color rocks in the bin.

You can scoop with one hand and pour them so they hit the other hand on the way down. There is no wrong way to play in a sensory bin.

You can have fun search for just one color. They can find all of that color and hold them in the other hand or put the in a small bin outside of the sensory bin.

They can search for all the different colors in the sensory bin. It is loads of fun for kids to see how many different colors they have in the acrylic rocks.

You can even try and make a rainbow from the rocks in the sensory bin. It was hard to keep them on top of the beads but was fun to see!

The one thing I love about sensory bins is that there is no wrong way to play in them!
