Ways to Use the Rainbow Multiplication Roll and Cover Printable
You are going to see set up and a few ways to use these printables. And I love that this type of mat can be used all of spring.
Setting Up the Spinner
There are a few ways to use the spinner. You want t make sure you use the spinner that matches the set of numbers you are working on.
You have a clear spinners over the top of the spin and just spin the arrow. We like using it this way. It is also easy for kids to use.
You can also use a pencil and paperclip. You place the paperclip in the center and the pencil inside the paperclip. Then you flick the paperclip to make it spin around the pencil.
Spinning and Doting the Multiplication Answers
This is a fun center to use with kids. You can give them a spinner and dot marker. They spin the spinner and then do the multiplication problem. They dot the answer on the rainbow. Then you have them write the equation on the side.
Super easy to use with kids.
Using Multiplication Cards with the Rainbow Mats
One great way to make this into a fun multiplication center for kids is to use the rainbow multiplication mat and the flashcards from the set. You can use the flashcards to make the mat you are using.
Kids then pull out the flashcards, they find and cover the number, then they can write the equation on the side of the paper.
You can set this up for any number multiplication you are working on.
Roll & Dot Number
You can have fun with a die with this set as well. You can roll and then dot the number on the page. Then you write the equation on the side.
You roll until you have written down all the equations for the rainbow multiplication worksheet you are working on.
You could also do this with the spinner.
