How we made the Red, White and Blue Washi Tape Wreath Craft
You can see the steps below that we used to make the Red, White and Blue Washi Tape wreath craft.
Step 1: Pull the Washi Tape Off the Roll
You are going to pull the washi tape off the roll. You will place it over the paper plate to get the length that you need. You want to have extra on the outside of the paper plate and the inside of the paper plate.
After you have the right length you will tear the washi tape.

Step 2: Turn Over the Paper Plate & Press the Tape Down

Step 3: Repeat Step 1 and 2
You are going to repeat getting the left of the tape and the pressing the tape down on the back for each tape. It will stick better on the wreath this way.
You can do several of each color or do one of each color. You can see that we did three of each color and then started on the next. You want to keep up with the red and blue pattern on the wreath.

You can see how much fun it is to change washi tape colors and go around the paper plate. It is fun to see how the red, white and blue colors look.

Two Colors for the Fourth of July Wreath
You can see you can also just use two sets of washi tape to make the whole red, white and blue wreath. You can see how they make a fun pattern around the wreath. You could do this with any of the colors. But it works best with a washi tape that has has white with the blue and red color.
