Easy No-Prep Sight Word Spin & Color Printable – 220 Dolch Sight Words
Sight words are always something kids are learning. I love to change up how we do them now and then. One fun way I have done this is with a new coloring and tracing printable for the words.
This printable has made a great literacy center for my youngest while she is working on learning all the sight words. I also like that I can use it with any learning system. There is no set order that I have to use the words.
I love having something now and then I can just print and hand my girls to use. It was one fun way to work on the sight words that was not just doing flashcards.

What is a Sight Word?
Sight words are words that we teach beginner readers to know by heart. This is so that when they see it they know it. It can help speed reading along.
Simply put these are words that are found common in reading. Some examples are: like, and, can, go here, and come. They might not be easy to decode or don’t follow pattern simple sounding out patterns.
Sight Word Spin & Color Printable
The Sight Word Spin & Color Printable has all 220 Dolch Sight Words. It puts some of our favorite learning centers together: coloring and spinning activities. Then you add in that each page has the word to trace. All different ways to work on learning each word.
Each of the Sight Word Spin & Color pages is easy to use. They all have a color coded spinner. There are six colors on it: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. They are colors that most kids know. You also have a pencil and paper clip.
Use a pencil and paperclip to make the spinner. My girls love spinning activities. It was a fun way to work on learning the letters in the sight words while coloring. Plus everyone can have different colors for their word.
One fun way we did the tracing was to match the word up to the letter we just colored. So if they color in the letter D in red, they then trace the word drink in red. It is fun to do, and we love it.
