Ways to Use the Snowflake Sensory Bin
You are going to see a few ways that we use sensory bins. And these are just ideas and always remember that.
Play in Snowflake Sensory Bin
You can play in the snowflake sensory bin. This is a great way to get sensory play in for kids that need it. And they don’t need a lot in a sensory bin to play in them.
Kids can scoop and pour with their hands and enjoy playing with the rice and snowflakes. The textures of the snowflakes and the rice are different textures for sensory needs.

Sorting Snowflake Colors
You can do a fun sorting activity with the snowflakes. You can sort these by the three colors of snowflakes. Each snowflake can go in a piles. You can do the piles in the sensory bin or you can take it outside of the bin.
You can see how colors of blue are similar and how the clear version of the snowflakes match up.
It is fun to see just fun to see kids sort the snowflake as they find them in the rice.

Making Letters, Numbers and Shapes in the Sensory Bin
