Fun Free Space Skip Counting by 5 Puzzles
Puzzles are an excellent way to work on different types of learning. I love using them for math and language activities. We loved the winter skip counting by two puzzles, and I thought some other skip counting puzzles would be fun.
This time we have free space skip counting by five puzzles. I’ve never had a set that went past just 50 and I thought it would be fun to have a few of those That Do!

What are Skip Counting Puzzles?
Skip Counting puzzles are puzzles that work using skip counting while building the puzzle. Each piece of the puzzle works on a skip counting pattern.
These space skip counting puzzles work on skip counting by 5. it will have 5, 10, 15, 20, etc for the puzzles pieces.

My girls have always loved learning with puzzles. It has been fun to add puzzles into their learning. It makes the learning hands on and works on them putting the numbers in the correct order.
When you have a themed set, the puzzles are meant to be fun! Just by changing the theme it can make a difference for a child. It is one reason why I have so many different themes packs.
Each of the space puzzles are skip counting by 5. The first puzzle goes from 5 to 50 and the second skip counting puzzle goes from 55 to 100. There are two sets of skip counting puzzle printables. One set is a vertical puzzle, and the other is a horizontal puzzle.
Things to use with the Skip Counting by Five Puzzles
Setting Up the the Space Skip Counting Puzzles
I laminate each of the space skip counting puzzles and the blank board. That makes it easier to reuse. I also put wall putty on the puzzles or the board. If we are just doing one puzzle, I do the puzzle pieces. If we are doing several puzzles, I do it on the blank board. This time I just did the blank board. You can see an example of it on the puzzles pieces here.
Using the Skip Counting Puzzles
I’m going to show you are few ways to use these skip counting by five puzzles. These are some of our favorite ways to use them.
Making the Skip Counting Puzzles
The first time through the puzzle I just give her the board and the puzzle cut out. I will tell her the pattern of the numbers. Example: The puzzles are skip counting by 5s. Then she puts the puzzle together.
Skip Counting by Five With the Puzzles
After she has the skip counting by 5 puzzle finished, we skip counting forward and then backward. This is a great way to work on learning the numbers.
Mix up the Skip Counting by 5 Puzzle
If you want to give them a challenge, you can mix up all the puzzles from 5 through 100 and have them sort them out by number. There are so many ways to change up this activity.
Another way we love doing is to have the puzzle all mixed up on the board and have them fix it. These make great math centers for kids.
