You can hide all the gold under the sand and have them dig the gold out. It is a great way to get them into the bin really quickly. It is super easy to set up as well!

Dig and Find all the Gold
Then they can just dig all the gold out from the sand. I love to see if they can hold the gold in one hand and dig with the other. You can switch hands with the gold as well.

Let them Be Creative in Their Sensory Play
I love that kids can be as creative as they want with a sensory bin. I can suggest things but they always have the best ideas for play.
With the kinetic sand it holds its shape and you can build on it. She put some gold in the middle and then put sand all around it.
