Free Subtraction Bookmarks Printables

After I finished the Addition Bookmarks I just knew that I would have to make some subtractions ones as well.

I have loved all the math bookmarks. They make for an easy way for kids to learn their math facts. Plus the bookmarks make a great reference as well me as well. They are the perfect size for kids hands as well. Plus you can work on just the number you are working on.

What is Subtraction?

Subtraction is the removal of objects from a collection. So you start with three objects and take one of the objects away and you have two remaining.

The equation for subtraction would look like 3 – 1 = 2.

Subtraction Bookmarks Printable

Each subtraction bookmark has the list of all the ways to add up to that number. These have numbers 1 through 20 in them. The print does get smaller as the numbers get bigger to keep them all in one row. These are just like the addition bookmarks. I really wanted to keep all the equations in a single row on the bookmark.

We have loved having all the different bookmarks. I have been laminating the bookmarks and putting them on a 1 inch ring so that my girls can flip through the cards.

These really are a fun way to kids to work on their subtraction. You can compare the addition and subtraction side by side as well. I’m always using these in one way or another.
