How we made the Torn Paper Flower Craft
All the steps below are how we made the torn paper flower craft. Once you are done try this paper tulip craft.
Step 1: Tear up the paper in Strips
You are going to start by tearing up the paper in strips. This is super easy and the strips can be different size. Smaller works better for the stem but it won’t matter in the end.

You can see the colors we store up below. You will will several strips of green and the other colors can be less.

Step 3: Place the Stems of the Blue Paper
You are going to tear part of the green paper strips in half or three fourths of the size. You can let kids decide how they want to do that.
Then you place you stems on the blue paper. This is helping you see how many flowers you are going to do and how tall they will be.

Step 4: Glue the Stems On the Blue Paper
Next you glue the stems on the paper. You can use glue sticks like we did our use regular glue. We like glue sticks because it is less mess for torn paper projects.

Step 5: Make Leaves for the Stems
You are going to tear small pieces of green paper to make the leaves for the stems. They can be big or small in size. This is where kids can decide how it should look.
You then glue the leaves on the stem. Kids can have the leaves going any which direction they want.

Step 6: Glue on the Center of the Flower
You are going to glue the center of the flower onto the paper. The center of the flower can be any color. You are just going to tear one of the colors for the center.
You can do all one color or let kids decide what color the center should be. And each center can be different.

Step 7: Tear up the Color Strips of Paper for the Petals of the Flower
You are going to tear up colors to make the petals for the flowers. You will take of the strips of colored paper and tear it into pieces. Kids can decide how long the flower petals should be. They can be small, big or any size.
This is what makes this flower craft fun is kids can decide how they want it to look.

Step 8: Glue the Flower Petals On
You are going to glue the flower petals on the center flower. The petals can be at the edge of the center, ore overlap the center. Let kids decide how it should look.
