Zoo Themed Time Task Cards
There are loads of areas that I’m working toward having more of. I always seem to forget about working on time. I know that there are always fun activities around a clock that you can do.
Zoo has always been a favorite theme during the summer and sometimes all year long. I know that animals are always a favorite with my girls.
A lot of times when we head to the zoo they have feeding schedules and other animal activities you can see. I thought it would be fun to put that into time task cards that kids can use!
This post is part of the 5 Days of Zoo Printables.
I know that I love having different levels of learning altogether. We loved the New Years Time Task Cards and I wanted something that could be used for all year. So a new theme with zoo it is!
I have two different levels of learning in the card sets. You have making the time on the clock and doing addition and subtraction with time.
Each of the cards has a number on the top right side of the card. The number match up on the worksheet. So they can fill out worksheet based on the numbers on the cards.

I punch of hole in the left corner and put the cards on a ring. This allows them to flip through the cards. Plus it makes it easier to keep together for a learning math center and storage for later use. I also printed these on stardust cardstock
. I know my girls like to have something other than white every now and then.
If you want the cards to last longer I recommend laminating them.

The first set of task cards has just basic write in the feeding time of the animals. It gives you a time that will end in 00, 15, 30 or 45. This is to make it as easy for them to write in the time. This set is great late kindergarten and easy first grade. Or any child that just might need a quick review of time.

The second set of cards has word problems based on addition and subtraction of time. You have some cards that give a starting time or an ending time of an animal activity. These are great for second grade or third grade kids.

What you will find in these printables:
- 2 sets of 9 Zoo themed task cards
- 2 easy to use worksheet for kids to fill out
- 10 pages of printables
- One set Writing in Time
- One set doing addition or subtraction with time
